Barbed wire

Aug. 08, 2023

Barbed wire is an isolation protective net made by winding barbed wire on the main wire (strand wire) through a barbed wire machine, and through various weaving processes.
Three twisting methods of barbed wire: positive twist, reverse twist, forward and reverse twist.
Positive twisting method: Twist two or more iron wires into a double-strand wire rope and then wind the barbed wire around the double-strand wire.
Reverse twisting method: Firstly, the barbed wire is wound on the main wire (that is, a single iron wire), and then an iron wire is twisted and woven with it to form a double-strand barbed wire.
Positive and reverse twisting method: It is to twist and weave in the opposite direction from the place where the barbed wire is wound around the main wire. It's not twisted in one direction.

The reason for surface treatment is to enhance the anti-corrosion strength and prolong the service life. As the name suggests, the surface treatment of galvanized barbed wire is galvanized, which can be electro-galvanized or hot-dip galvanized; the surface treatment of PVC barbed wire is PVC-coated, and the inner barbed wire is black wire, electro-galvanized wire and hot-dip galvanized wire.
Aluminum-coated barbed wire is a new product that has just been launched. Its surface is covered with a layer of aluminum, so it is also called aluminized. We all know that aluminum does not rust, so aluminum plating on the surface can greatly improve the anti-corrosion ability and make it last longer. The use of barbed wire: used for anti-theft and protection in factories, private villas, first floors of residential buildings, construction sites, banks, prisons, banknote printing factories, military bases, bungalows, low walls, etc.
